- Noah and the Flood: God instructed Noah to build an enormous ark to save himself, his family, and pairs of every animal from a devastating flood that would cover the entire earth. After the floodwaters receded, Noah and his family emerged from the ark to begin a new chapter in the history of humanity.
- Moses and the Exodus: After being raised in the court of Pharaoh, Moses was called by God to lead his people, the Israelites, out of slavery in Egypt. With God’s help, Moses led the Israelites through the Red Sea and into the wilderness, where they wandered for 40 years before finally reaching the Promised Land.
- David and Goliath: When the Philistine giant Goliath challenged the Israelites to send out a champion to fight him, young David stepped forward to accept the challenge. Armed with only a slingshot and five smooth stones, David defeated Goliath and became a hero to the Israelites.

These calls to adventure are not limited to biblical figures but are extended to all believers who are called to follow Jesus and live a life of faith, service, and adventure.
- Abraham’s Call: In Genesis 12, God calls Abram (later renamed Abraham) to leave his homeland and travel to a new land that God would show him. Despite not knowing where he was going, Abram obeyed and became the father of many nations.
