Decision-making is a process of making a choice(s). In economics, it is assumed that if humans are intelligent and free to make their own judgments, they will follow the rational choice theory.

According to rational choice theory, individuals employ logical calculations to make reasonable decisions and attain results that are consistent with their particular goals. These outcomes are also linked to optimizing an individual’s self-interest.

We can’t make judgments based on future possibilities since we can’t see what they are. Only God knows what road our decisions will lead us down.

Solomon noticed that this path often appears to be correct to a man. His life path appears to him to be fine, and he wonders why God or anybody else would disagree.

The adage “everything that glitters is not gold” applies to this poem. It may promise and bring happiness, power, and the good life, but it is incapable of sustaining what it provides.

God made this specific covenant with His people not long after the children of Israel were freed from slavery in Egypt. They were to love and serve only the Lord their God with all their hearts.

As his mission comes to a conclusion, Moses advises God’s people to choose life. Moses goes through the parameters of the covenant with the people of Israel, stressing that being in a covenant relationship with God entails making a dramatic decision to dedicate oneself completely to the Lord and His ways.

Paul first wrote the book of Philippians as a letter to the church at Philippi. On his second missionary journey, Paul established the church of Philippi.

Paul exhorts us in Philippians 4:8 to cultivate a Christian mental life. We are instructed to give every thought captive to the Lord, to let the mind of Christ live in us fully, and not to let our heart’s ideas govern us.

Paul encourages us to think about what is true, honorable, right, pure, beautiful, of high repute, excellent, and praiseworthy. Paul states in this text that we should focus on the good and honorable things in the world rather than the falsehoods that Satan attempts to weave into the world.

People often say that they find it hard to make decisions.
Decision-making or making choices is a lifelong activity, we all have to make decisions at one point or the other the time.

The power to choose is both a privilege and a duty for humans. Both, in my opinion, go together. One cannot exist without the other.

If you want to be free to make your own decisions, you must be willing to assume responsibility for the repercussions of those decisions.

Almost invariably, the idiot believes they are on the correct track. It is tough for them to consider their life route attentively and precisely.

The intelligent man recognizes the worth of advice and does not focus solely on what is correct from his own perspective. The intelligent individual recognizes the value of having another pair of “eyes” on one’s path.

Plans fail without guidance, but with numerous counselors, they prosper. Make no judgments in a vacuum. Don’t put your faith in your study, analysis, prediction, or plan.

Other people’s ideas and experiences can save you time and help you enhance your approach. When you prepare for yourself or your family, you are already predisposed to a particular outcome.

So, the bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.

Decisions can be made intuitively, rationally, or a combination of both. Decisions can be made intuitively, rationally, or through a mix of the two.

The reasoning is the process of making conclusions based on the facts and numbers in front of you. Reasoning has its origins in the present moment and in facts. In Harvey Coxs’ words not to decide is to decide.
