God’s plan of redemption bible verses

Galatians 3:13–14

Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

What we couldn’t do, Christ accomplished for us. He delivered us from the law’s curse. The word “redeemed,” which comes from the Greek exgorasen, means “to buy someone out of slavery.”

Paul claims that Christ achieved this for us by bearing our curse upon Himself. Paul mentions Deuteronomy once more: “Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed” (Deuteronomy 21:23). Even the manner in which Jesus was executed demonstrated that He had become cursed in our place.

In a nutshell, this excellent verse captures the core of Jesus’ “good news.” We were all cursed by the law since none of us could follow it without breaching it. We were cut off from God, and He did not pronounce us righteous.

Lamentations 3:55–60

You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not fear!”

~ Lamentations 3:57(NASB)

Lamentations 3_55–60

These words written by Jeremiah, Israel’s prophet, are powerful, soothing, and heart-warning. Jeremiah proclaimed, “You drew near when I called on You.” “You said, ‘Don’t be frightened! Don’t be afraid!'”

The invisible, omnipresent God is never far away from any of us, although His presence can feel far away at times of severe sadness and inner suffering.

But, in His wisdom, God frequently waits for His troubled children to realize that their deepest heart need is the Lord Himself and that their acute lack can only be satisfied in Him – as they come to Him in childlike dependence and trusting confidence. This goes to show God’s redemption plan for us his people.

God’s plan of salvation bible verses

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

~ Romans 6:23

Romans 6_23

ALL men have access to eternal life through the son of God. The gift of salvation is freely provided by God to mankind.

God’s free gift of forgiveness of sins and eternal life is available to everybody who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, Paul told the Philippian jailer, and John tells us in his gospel that God so loved the world that He GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON that those who BELIEVE ON HIM should not perish but have eternal life.

The cost for sin is death, yet when Jesus died on Calvary’s horrible cross, He received the payment on behalf of all humanity, because this was God’s plan of salvation for humanity.

John 14:6

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

~ John 14:6

John 14_6

Jesus didn’t just say He’d show us the way; He said He was the way to salvation. He is the only way for a fallen man to find his way back to the Father.

And Jesus had to traverse the path of the cross of Calvary to reach that key juncture in global history, where His shed blood and unselfish sacrifice destroyed the impenetrable barrier between sinful man and a holy God.

Yes! Jesus is the one and only Way, and there is no other option!

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

~ Romans 1:16

Romans 1_16

Paul, the servant of Christ Jesus, who was called and set apart to preach the gospel of God to both Jews and Gentiles, was not ashamed to bring the good news of Jesus who died for the sins of the world and rose again the third day to the sophisticated capital of the Roman empire.

Despite his message being a stumbling block to the proud Jewish nation and foolishness to educated Greek citizens, Paul did not hesitate to proclaim the gospel of Christ to a septical world of fallen men, because Paul knew that the gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes.

John 3:16–18

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

~ John 3:16–18

John 3_16–18

It was God’s intention that the only way man’s death sentence could be overturned was if a sinless, perfect Man was ready to pay the penalty for sin.

But no one was good enough because everyone is a sinner. As a result of His love for us, God sent His only begotten Son to be the sin offering and to bear the penalty that WE deserve, “so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”

God sent His only Son for fallen humanity, who were created in His image but sinned against their Creator God, resulting in an unbridgeable chasm between man and his Maker.

Titus 2:11–14

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age

~ Titus 2:11–14

Titus 2_11–14

The Apostle here makes us know that it is only by God’s grace that salvation was given to us.

It is by God’s grace that we are saved and not by our personal works.

1 Thessalonians 5:9–10

For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him

~ 1 Thessalonians 5:9–10

1 Thessalonians 5_9–10

As Christian, the complete weight of God’s wrath was poured out on Christ instead of us. In our place, he was punished.

For us, he was created sinful. On our behalf, He shed His blood. God’s wrath was poured out in full on Christ in order for your and my sins to be forgiven by grace through trust in Him.

We are forgiven of all our sins since God’s wrath was poured out on Christ in our place.

Every sin we do throughout our lives – past, present, and future – was laid on Christ, and He paid the great price for sin 2000 years ago. He stood in our shoes and suffered the penalty in our place.

Bible verses about God’s timing and plan

Ecclesiastes 3:1

There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven

~ Ecclesiastes 3:1

Ecclesiastes 3_1

God has predetermined the times and seasons. He even knows how many hairs we have on our heads, and the Lord our God has planned every day of our lives.

So often, we believe we know what is best for ourselves and humanity as a whole, and our own thoughts are reflected in our prayers… but our heart’s wishes and passionate appeals to the Lord often conflict with God’s greater will for our life and His greater will and destiny for us.

This goes to show that God’s tie for us hie children is the best and we should always make an enquiry about his plans for us before we do anything.

Isaiah 49:8

Thus says the Lord,
“In a favorable time I have answered You,
And in a day of salvation I have helped You;
And I will keep You and give You for a covenant of the people,
To restore the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritages;

~ Isaiah 49:8

Isaiah 49_8

Prophet Isaiah makes us understand that God will give answers to his children at his own timing and at a favorable time.

God promised to help us on the day of salvation. And he promised to restore the land and make us inherit his heritage.

Isaiah 60:22

“The smallest one will become a clan,
And the least one a mighty nation.
I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.”

~ Isaiah 60:22

Prophet Isaiah proclaims that the smallest one will become a clan, and the least one will become a mighty nation,

And this, the bible say that the Lord will hasten it in his own time. This means that everything we do should follow God’s timing if it must be successful.

Because anything outside God’s timing will not be successful.

Ecclesiastes 3:2

A time to give birth and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.

~ Ecclesiastes 3:2

In this verse, we are made to understand that there is time for everything. There is a time to die and a time for birth.

There is a time for us to sow and a time to harvest what we plated.

In what ever we do, we must try to align ourselves with God’s timing.

Habakkuk 2:3

“For the vision is yet for the appointed time;
It hastens tow ard the goal and it will not fail.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
For it will certainly come, it will not delay.

~ Habakkuk 2:3

Habakkuk was perplexed that God did not intervene on behalf of His people the way he would have wanted.

But he later came to understand that the Lord had appointed a glorious time when He would save His people from their sins, rescue them from their enemies, and wipe away every tear from their eyes.

This goes to show that God works in His own timing and not in our own timing.

1 Peter 5:6

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time,

~ 1 Peter 5:6

Pride is a destructive attitude that can disrupt the communion of believers and foster a discourteous attitude, causing division among brethren and this should not be.

Humility contributes to fellowship, where peace and graciousness prevail, whereas pride is a destructive attitude that can disrupt the communion of believers and foster a discourteous attitude, causing division among brethren.

While waiting on God plan and God’s timing, we must e humble, and our attitude must be good.
