As children of God, we have fears and worries about many things, which often makes us feel sad and hopeless from time to time, and Strong fears may appear at different times during our trial moments and while building our faith and trust in God.

For example,  we are often very distressed when faced with specific difficulties, even when God has promised to deliver us from all circumstances, as written in his words.

Although fears and worries are typical in children, the same applies to us as Christians.

Persistent or extreme forms of fear and sadness could be due to anxiety or depression because if we as Christians don’t outgrow the fears and worries typical in young children, we will never receive what we seek from God’s hands.

The Bible has made us understand that a wavering heart cannot get anything from God and the punishment associated with fear of hell fire.

What Does the Bible say about Anxiety in Children?

As children of God, the Bible has given us scriptures to give us a firm conviction that God never has and will not forsake us, even amid temptations.

We are encouraged in the book of Philippians 4:6 not to be anxious about anything, but through prayers and supplication, make our request known unto God.

It went further in the book of Matthew 6:25-34 to remind us that we should not be troubled about what to eat or drink for our father in heaven knows we need such and will provide for us according to his riches in glory.

What Does God say about Anxiety Attacks?

God has encouraged us to cast all our burdens on him, for he indeed cares, according to the book of 1 Peter 5:7, and we will not be shaken.

He has also us to be anxious about nothing, but through prayers and supplication, to make our request known to him as written in Philippians 4:6.

In a similar Bible passage, according to the book of Matthew 6:25-34 God has asked us not to be worried about what to eat or drink as our father knows we need those things.
