About the role:
- Provide safe and nurturing care for children aged 0–5 years old
- Implement developmentally appropriate activities and play-based learning
- Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of children
- Collaborate with parents and other caregivers
- Maintain a clean and organized learning environment
Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or relevant experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- A clear criminal record check
- Additional certifications in child development or specific program areas are a plus
Experience:
- Experience working with children aged 0–5 years old in a licensed childcare setting or home daycare is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Creativity and resourcefulness
- Patience and understanding
