Bible Verse Scripture Monday Blessings

We all desire to live blessed lives and enjoy God’s promises and benefits. Barak is the Hebrew word most commonly translated as “bless,” and it may mean to laud, congratulate, or salute, as well as to condemn.

People are to bless their fellow humans. God isn’t the only one who bestows benefits. Rebekah’s family blessed her when she left her family to marry Isaac (Genesis 24:60).

Matthew 5:1-3

And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:  And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying, Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.-

Matthew 5:1-3 KJV

The Bible did not say that blessings were only for one particular day only. The Bible says His mercies are new every morning.

Matthew 5’s Beatitudes highlight the pleasant state of individuals who find their purpose and satisfaction in God.

Jesus did not state that the first seven blessings were just for one nation or for his disciples. They are available to you or anybody who serves both God and man.

The eighth blessing (a joyful result) was reserved for those who suffer for the cause of Jesus. Each of the eight blessings begins with the phrase “Blessed,” blessed because of how you live in the beatitudes.

Deuteronomy 30:19

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.-

Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV

Deuteronomy 30_19

How can you decide between life and blessing? You make the decision to honor God and obey His instructions consciously.

You make the decision to delight in Him and His methods. This is the key to receiving God’s blessing in your life.

Proverbs 16:20

He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.-

Proverbs 16:20 kjv

Proverbs 16_20

We can only enjoy God’s benefits if we follow His precepts, and whoever trusts in God in all circumstances is blessed. God is aware of our deepest wishes.

He will take care of our most important desires if we put our confidence in him. He understands what is best for us.

Bible Verse Scripture Monday Blessings

God is a God of a pattern. There are ways of accessing the father. And if you heed the voice of the Lord your God, all these blessings will come upon you and overtake you (Deuteronomy 28:2).

The Lord’s genuine benefits are first and foremost spiritual, not bodily. They are in Christ, not in the world. They are in heavenly, not earthly, locations.

Matthew 22:37-38

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.-

Matthew 22:37-38 KJV

Matthew 22_37-38

We are informed that love for God and love for others is the fulfillment of God’s rule because we cannot love others until we are in the right connection with our Heavenly Father, but we cannot fully love God unless we truly know Him as our Saviour, in whom we have eternal life.

To get benefits, your first order should be to love God and others. A genuine, unbroken dedication to God and His will is the fundamental foundation of a meaningful relationship with Him.

Job 5:17

Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty-

Job 5:17 KJV

Job 5_17

Esher, which is sometimes translated as happiness, is another Hebrew word meaning blessing.

Blessed is the man whom God corrects; therefore, do not scorn the Almighty’s discipline. This benefit is linked to the understanding that God is working to guide us in the correct direction.

Bible Verse for More Blessings

The term “grace” derives from the Greek word charis, which means “favor, benediction, or kindness” in the New Testament.

God demonstrates both mercy and grace, but they are not the same thing. Mercy spares us the penalty we deserve, while grace bestows a reward we (do not) deserve.

Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19 KJV

Philippians 4_19

This is quite certainly one of the most well-known verses in the New Testament. Paul assures the Philippians that their contribution was not in vain. God will provide for their needs based on his resources in Jesus Christ.

God’s aim for us living on Earth is to have full lives, which is why He rewarded man when He created him, urging him to be productive and occupied.

Paul is emphasizing that God provides for all of our needs through the riches of Christ Jesus. He claims that God promises to benefit us as we participate in the gospel ministry.

John 1:16

And from his fullness, we have all received, grace upon grace

John 1:16 KJV

John 1_16

Grace had already been granted, but it was replaced with a new and greater grace. Whatever we have comes from Christ’s fullness in his Father because he is “full of grace and truth.”

For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.-

Ephesians 1:3 KJV

Ephesians 1_3

We who have been saved by grace through faith in Christ should cultivate an inner attitude of grateful thanks, loving appreciation, joyful anticipation, and eternal wonderment for all that He has done for us and His inexpressible love for us, “in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

God has lavished the church with every good gift imaginable, and God’s generosity has no bounds.

These benefits are called “spiritual” because they are bestowed and enabled by the Holy Spirit, who is active in the church.

Ephesians 3:20

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.-

Ephesians 3:20 KJV

Ephesians 3_20

GOD’s work is accomplished via the power of the Holy Spirit inside us, rather than through our own human might.

You know, God can accomplish anything far more than you could ever dream, predict, or beg. God’s plans are far larger than ours.

His ways are not our ways, nor are His thoughts our thoughts. We are not God; he is. So there are an unlimited number of ways He performs things we don’t know how to ask for.
