Are there Bible Verses When You Feel Incompetent? The Bible is not a pharmacy where we get our daily fix of motivation or cheer. The Bible is the epic tale of God’s strategy to use the redemption of a nation to his glory.

But, the Bible does address depression, which is encouraging for those like myself who frequently find themselves enveloped in the shadows.

Biblical scriptures about despair and hopelessness do exist, then. These verses give the forlorn hope, the sad are given God’s perspective rather than their gloomy one, and light is shone into dark places.

Conclusion
