As a growing transportation firm, Unique Haulage Ltd. is looking for an enthusiastic and talented Office Manager to join our team. You will be essential to maintaining our office’s efficiency and advancing our company’s success.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

  • A vibrant, fast-paced workplace where occasionally overtime is needed.
  • Regular computer use and occasional heavy lifting of documents and files.
  • The capacity to walk for long periods and negotiate stairs.


Streamlining operations:

  • To maximize efficiency, review, assess, and introduce new administrative procedures.
  • Organize and supervise all day-to-day office activities, such as scheduling, filing, and making trip plans.
  • Effectively assign tasks to administrative employees.

Management of finances:

  • Aid in the creation and oversight of departmental budgets.
    Handle the receivables and payables.
  • Compile payroll and make sure all laws and rules are followed.

Reporting and communication:

  • Communicate with drivers, dispatch, and clients as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Concise and written reports and presentations.
  • Ensure that your records are current and accurate.

Systems and technology:

  • Competent with industry-specific apps and office software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
  • Oversee and care for office machinery and infrastructure.
  • Keep informed on technology developments that are pertinent to the position.

Additional responsibilities:


Plan and oversee meetings and activities.

Provide the management team administrative support.


Respond to routine office questions and keep the atmosphere friendly and professional.
